Asian
- Chicken Chow Mein - this has become one of my go-to recipes for quick and easy weeknight cooking. This is a great starter recipe for new Asian cooks.
- Soba Noodles with Chicken and Carmelized Garlic - also a quick and easy Asian dish. Very garlic-y and low in calories too.
- Soba Noodles with Sweet Ginger Scallion Sauce - sweet and spicy deliciousness!
- Sichuan Eggplant - this is blazing hot, but so delicious!
- Pho - One my absolute favorite dishes! This recipe is time consuming, but worth it. The broth freezes well, so I usually make a big batch and freeze it in smaller containers.
- Shrimp Curry Rice Noodles - A delicious red Thai curry. Can also be made with chicken.
- Pad Korat - a sweet and spicy Thai dish, made with rice noodles
- Drunken Noodles - another favorite Thai recipe
- Korean JaJanMyun - Black bean sauce, served over noodles.
- Singapore Noodles (Vietnamese Style) - This is not like the curry-based Singapore noodles I am used to. Includes chicken, pork and shrimp over rice stick noodles with a light, sour, and spicy Vietnamese sauce.
- Thai Green Chicken Curry - A creamy Thai green curry sauce
- Pad See Ew - A Thai staple. Wide rice noodles in sweet soy sauce.
- Tom Kha Gai - A creamy Thai soup made with coconut milk.
- Beef Chow Fun - A favorite Chinese dish. Wide rice noodles with a black bean sauce.
- Vietnamese Noodle Salad with Lemongrass Shrimp - this has the classic Vietnamese spicy/sweet/sour combination that I love so much
American
- Martha Stewart's Mac and Cheese - simply the best I've had
- Good Eats Turkey - Alton Brown brined and roasted turkey. I've made this the past two Thanksgiving's. So flavorful!
- City Ham - Alton Brown's grandmother's recipe. Has a delicious crust of ginger snap cookies!
- BBQ Ribs - my recipe for smoked BBQ pork ribs.
- BBQ Beef Brisket - my recipe for smoked BBQ brisket.
